A few weeks ago I had the honor of taking Corey and Kelsie's engagement photos.  We had a great time wandering around the Cheatham County Fair  taking photos in their fancy duds.  Their such a beautiful couple!  C & K, I hope you enjoy them.

Meet Miss Elyza

Please forgive me it has been months since I posted last but we have super busy with tobacco, starting school, and oh yes our new baby girl Elyza.  She turned a month old this week and has brought us so much joy.  Without getting emotional and sappy, we are so in love with her.  Enjoy the video of her first month. 

Hunter~ 3 months

A few weeks ago I met up with Hunter and his mommy for his three month photos.  Hunter did wonderful with all the crazy positions we tried to put him in and didn't cry once. Kason Wayne

Meet Kason Wayne, a very special little boy.  Kason's mom and I have been best friends for a long time and have gone through wanting and having babies together (she was nice enough to do it first and tell me all about it).  Kason is an angel and I could smother him in love all day if his mommy would let me. Margaux

The other day my bestie came up to the city and brought her adorable daughter Margaux.  She is the happiest, giggliest baby I have ever been around.  I hope little E has the same infectious laughter.  Here are a few causal photos of Margaux.

Corey and Kelsie

I love photographing couples especially when they will adventure out with me in the snow!  Corey and Kelsie are an adorable couple and we're super excited about their engagement.  Kelsie is going to make a stunning bride and Corey won't be so bad himself.  Congrats guys!  Click here to see all their photos from the snowy day.

Baby Room

Since we found out we're having a girl, I (plus family) have been really busy getting the baby room ready and driving M crazy!  The walls are light green and we have a mix of furniture, but my favorite is the pink chest-of- drawers.  We're just starting the decorating process and have tons more to do!  

Baby Hunter and Big Bro Austin

Meet baby Hunter......he is the sweetest baby ever!  Hunter arrived about four weeks early, kinda of a surprise for mommy, daddy, and big brother.  They did great for their first photo shoot together, thank you for letting me photograph the sweet brothers.  

Some highs and lows

It has been a really long time since I posted last, we have been very busy.  In the past few months we have had some highs and some lows.  Right before Thanksgiving my beloved bird passed away.  Kiki had been my bird child for about ten years and I really really miss her.  I got her my freshman year of college and she has been with me through many boyfriends, good times, many jobs, and many moves.  She was definitely part of the family, I would hear Michael talking to her in the mornings, and most of the family bird-sat her while we went on vacations.  Kiki you are greatly missed!!

Ironically, Kiki died at one of our happiest times Michael and I have had together.  We are expecting and  we're are so excited and can't wait to meet our special Waynick baby in June!

To add another layer on the happy cake, I am graduating with my masters tomorrow.  I will probably cry the whole ceremony because my emotions are crazy and just pure happiness.  This has been a really long journey and so proud that I finished it with help from the family.  But now I'm ready to focus on the baby!

Sneak Peek......Hayden

This little boy is my heart and has been for five years.  Hayden just started kindergarten and 

recently learned how to tie his shoes (this is a really big deal).  There are more photos 

to come, but I had to share these as I was working on them.

Tammy and Ashlee, thank you for a wonderful photo session and being so willing to play in the creek!  Have a wonderful senior year and make plenty if memories cheering and hanging with friends, college is right around the corner.

Starting Fires

So tobacco firing has begun and so has the late nights.  I'm ashamed to say, but this is the first time since M and I have been together that I have seen the firing process.  There is definitely an art to it.  M and Nick were taught by their father and grandfathers to fire the tobacco and it can be a dangerous job.  So  when you see a barn smoking, this is what is inside.  

Hello I'm a Mac Owner

 This is a photo of me sitting on my bed blogging from my new MacBook!  I am in love with this  computer!  I have wanted a Mac for a long time, final the hubby broke down and said go get one.  I am proud to say I'm a Mac owner.

Green Thumb

Due to the big flood, rebuilding, and tobacco, our garden is much smaller this year.  We've planted squash, zucchini, tomatoes, and some pumpkins.  The tomatoes have really come in this past week and I'm trying to not get behind on the picking.  We're having a hard time trying to eat the twenty tomatoes that come off the vine per day but I kinda feel guilty for not eating every veggie that comes of the vine.

That was so Awesome!!

Over the Holiday, I marked something off my bucket list...... whitewater rafting! Joining me was Michael, his brother Nick and his fiances' Katelynn for a two hours trip down the Ocoee river. Luckily none of us fell overboard, but we did get drenched by river water every two minutes or so. We had the best time! I cannot explain how much fun and exciting the experience was. We are definitely going back in the fall for the full day trip.

Oh Baby!

I had the honor of photographing my good friend, sister, and fellow red head (I pretend to be a red head) Shelby. She is due in a few weeks and is glowing! Shelb's- I hope you enjoy the photos and I can't wait to meet your sweet baby in a few weeks!

Life Sucks.....

Yet again the Waynick's have an issue with our apartments.....they were damaged by the flood Sunday. It is extremely heartbreaking to see water flooding your property. The water in the apartments is mid-chest on a six foot man. But there is a silver lining...the renter moved out Friday so it was empty and we have insurance (most people don't have flood insurance). Please keep us and other flood victims in your thoughts and prays.

The Miracle of Life....Even on a Farm

We had a new cow baby born over the weekend and he's really sweet. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love babies of any sort... especially cow babies and couldn't miss the opportunity to take photos. Sorry the photos care a little gross but it is the miracle of life!
