Last weekend I photographed my nephew Hayden. I have been photographing Hayden since he was a tiny baby. (Boy, I really miss those days!) It's hard to believe he'll be turning three in May. Before we know it he'll be sixteen. Lord help us all! Happy Easter Hayden!

In February, Michael and I attended the Tobacco Workers Conference. Well he attended and I wondered around the city taking photographs. Savannah is so beautiful with the moss hanging in the trees and all the old southern charm. I hope to go back to Savannah in the near future!
A bit of useless knowledge: Forrest Gump was filmed in one of the town squares in Savannah.

Those of you that don't know, I married a farmer! So this year I had a hands-on experience with growing tobacco. I never dreamed there would be so much to it! My husband, Michael, has grown tobacco all his life, he was taught by his grandfathers and father. Michael now travels all over teaching farmers how to grow different types of tobacco.
Here are few photographs of the tobacco being fired.
