Birmingham, AL
Last week end, Michael and I took a road trip to Birmingham. This trip was mainly business, but we had some free time. Michael had to choose between golfing or being my photo assistant. He made the right choice: being a camera holder!
We explored the city and found a Botanical Garden and Antebellum Mansion.
Here are some photos from the Botanical Garden:

Chincoteague, VA

Over Labor Day weekend, we took a small trip up our Island. Chincoteague is a wonderful little island on the Chesapeake Bay, heaven on Earth. Chincoteague is residential and the sister island, Assateague, is a wild life reserve. Assateague is home to birds, ponies, and mosquitoes. The ponies live on the wild life reserve and every year (around the 4th of July) the salt water cowboys herd the ponies to the bay and to the auction block. They only sell a few ponies a year to help pay for the care of the herd.

Here are a few photos:

While we were there, my Uncle Del had a neighborhood Fish Fry:

Thank you Adkins and Goddards for the great time, see ya'll soon!
